Thanks Motty, had this clematis a very long time, moved with us from the Midlands, but has no label, hoping it is the same as Simbads.....

Yep definitely looks like mine,and the smells right, I've had it a few years too and mine does still have its very tatty label :-)

It might be T. Wyevale A. Does it have a nice scent? I used to have this one, but found the growth habit was far too rampant for my space. The flowers are so pretty, like tiny little hyacinth flowers!

Karen that is the one, it does tend to get rather large, we keep it in check, I just love the perfume, and it does flower for ages......
