Clematis and Cornus

Oh, thats gorgeous Karen! You clever girl, aren't these wonderful late summer surprises, just love the shape and colour.

Oh yes she is pretty, I'm making notes, looks lovely in the cornus which I have too so I might pinch that idea :-)

Yes they do look good together.....

Thank you. I have Mary Rose in the other one, and I think any of the small flowering clems would look great with this foliage. Mary Rose is a little bit vigorous, but that's ok with mine because she hops from the Cornus to the Cistus, no problem!

...btw, Swedish Bells is a lovely one!

...and Savannah also works well and has a deeper pink hue. Swedish Bells is a lovely shade of blue.
