Adenium obesum - Desert Rose Plants

My new very cheap Desert Rose plant on the left (blooming)...and my 7 plus year old Desert Rose on the right...which isn't blooming (it bloomed April - July). Photo taken Sept. 16, 2012.

Yes, the plant develops a very big caudex in time. The caudex stores water and food during extreme drought conditions.
This is one of the most spectacular flowering shrubs. It can grow to taller than 6ft/2...although, it take a very long time.
