Rose - I lost two which I had had for a few years in the first of the bad winters, I said I would never grow anything that couldn't stand up to the bad weather, but I just could not resist it. Sucker for punishment I am. lol. I am hoping because it is along the house wall it will survive ok. fingers are crossed ......... and I am hoping it will not be as cold this winter as it has been the last two winters.
Thank you Scottish, I am keeping my fingers crossed :O)
Thank you Pansy think I might need all the luck :O)

My two survived the winter no problem and have grown really huge this year in their pots at the front of the garage. I love this red one. I suppose it's always a gamble with them, but it has the shelter of the house wall....lovely grasses too!

I said I wouldn't have another after the two died in the top border over the first cold winter.I am hoping that because it is at the back door and sheltered from two sides it might survive the frosts. Will keep you posted. x
