Terracotta pots planted up with pansies today.

I like that purple(pink?) grass in the background. Can you tell me the name please? The blue shrub on the left is lovely as well.

I was doing much the same two days ago and am hoping the deluge of rain we are about to get won't spoil them!

Thank you for ID of the grass. there so many cultivars if this species. I googled and I think yours is Miscanthus sinensis 'Rotsilber'. That one is pretty pink like yours.
Others seemed to be white. Thanks again.

Medowland, we do have a decent garden center nearby and they have some grasses but everithing is with white heads. Some look very unruly as well. I got my pampas grass from them and it is doing very well. I love the one in your picture. We have a spot for it.
