Mines in a pot in the greenhouse...still small...im afraid to put it outside....

Ours is finally making a decent size, not as good as this one yet........brilliant plants though.

DD - this one is twelve years old now. It gets a dry mulch every autumn but I don't cut down the top growth until I see new shoots the following spring

Must try dry mulching this time, what exactly do you use?

It's either woody material or straw from the compost heap that hasn't rotted down, or dry fern fronds (newly cut)
