p.s. I absolutely love the red/green ricinus for a tropical border....wonderful architectural plant and flowers to boot! Saw some smashers in the botanic gardens in Paris this year and was soooooo envious!

DD2:

Now, this looks like a tropical garden which could grow here. :>) It's a beautiful tropical garden!

Tetrapanax papyrifer grows very large here...and it blooms in the middle of winter (it probably blooms the same time there, I'm guessing).

Wow

Wow it is Christina, just wish this was mine......
Delonix it is a true tropical garden, most of Jaynes plants are from NZ or Australia, she does have to bring some in to her greenhouse to overwinter the more tender varieties....
Karen I must say I was very impressed with the planting, red and green do make for a good tropical garden.
Thanks Amy and San, it is back to the drawing board for me!!

Now that TRex looks just incredible there in with all that tropical stuff....mmm...am now thinking about making a 'tropical area somewhere, somehow....perhaps just around the conservatory....hmmm....will have to think about this!! It's like a 'tree' isn't it! lol!
