Ever'green' small shrub with bright fuchsia-pink flowers in winter which resemble witch hazel flowers, to which this plant is related. Hardy, but needs about 5C to flower. I'm going to bring it indoors if the weather turns nasty, or perhaps just shelter it in the greenhouse.

Delightful, my favourite garden colour......

It looks delicate for our winters, but do love the shape of leaves and color. I also like the way you put everything,(well, almost everything) in pots first. Good idea to get things off to the right track....

Well, it's in a pot because I wanted it for my patio Wells, because it is shade tolerant. But then after I ordered it, Sheila told me it wasn't fully hardy, so it will have to be moved around according to the weather. We are frozen solid now, so all my garden work has had to stop for a while. Probably just as well as my body is a little tired.
