Had to cut down one of my favorite trees this year, it used to be a three pronged beauty,now it's only two. and not much to look at

Wow, what a fabulous garden and photo, that stump would make a great
bird feeding table if you adapted the top of the stump a bit then you would be watching for the wild life instead of seeing it hacked off.

It still looks lovely. You could stand a container with an interesting plant in it on the tree stump, and maybe grow a little climber round the bottom, We have just done that when our weeping willow had to come down because of disease. It's close to the house and supports the washing line. The pot and climber take your eye away from the stump and it all looks as if it was planned.
