Lagerstroemia speciosa - Queen's Crape Myrtle

I think I have a long wait, ours is only two ft tall!!

This Crepe Myrtle will not grow outside where you live. It's hardiness is borderline, even here in San Diego.

Oh dear, yet it grows in France.....that is where we bought it.

I meant to say: Queen's Crape Myrtle (Lagerstroemia speciosa) which is very tropical. Sorry!

Lagerstroemia indica - Crape Myrtle is very, very hardy. It grows everywhere here, too. I'm sure it'll grow very well there, also.

Thank goodness for that....

I do like Queen's Crape Myrtle better. It is much more spectacular when in bloom.
