Hedgehog

I love hedgehogs. They are so cute, armless, flea jackets :))

This one was pretty cute Katarina, even if all I could see was a ball of spikes :o)

It is funny, they are very small creatures, but they can be quite noisy :)) Some years ago I found one like this in my garden, very small and he did strange movements in circle, as if he had some kind of nervous disease. I put him in a box with hay and apple and he fell asleep there. Was controlling him several days, he looked like sleeping but one day I noticed he is dead. Quite sad. We do not have rescue centers like yoou have, that´s a pity, as they are very useful animals.

Ohh, that's sad. I had heard they were noisy eaters lol!! But I wouldn't mind adopting one, I never see any in my garden, but I do have plenty of slugs they could eat ...

I would adopt the whole army of them, lol. Then I would sit down on my bench and watch how they enjoy my garden and get it rid of slugs and mosquitoes :))

At least the little one stands a better chance of surviving now that someone is caring for it, I haven`t seen any in our garden at all this year but I`m hoping that could be the fact that the weather did not encourage being in the garden after dark....

I think my Mum's hoping this one gets better so it can come and live in her garden! She's had a "hedgehog house" there for the last 2 years but so far, no takers ...
