Hidcote in July 2012 - Geranium psilostemon

This is Geranium psilostemon in a slightly damp and shady part of the garden at Hidcote. It was about 1.4m high with rich magenta flowers, each with a dark centre. Beautiful! I bought some for my garden. Am wondering how it will fair in my sandy soil.

I have this one too, one of my favourites, what a lovely display, mines sending up a few more flowers in October!!!!
