Sluggy please don't eat me
I am just a bee
I will bee so kind to you
If you let me bee.

But bee's are fun
Bee's go buzz.
They bring honey
On day's all sunny.
Oh please dear Lindak
Let me play, or think I can with bees....!

It never works though
However patient I am..
When Bee's go buzz
On day's all sunny..
They just buzz off, it isn't funny!

Bees are really busy creatures
having many insect features.
And the buzz noise really sings
from their little dainty wings.

Busy unless resting on a chair!
And botty's all covered in furry hair.
Bees that is!

One day Henry the little bee was resting in his bed. As the sun came up his alarm clock went off, he got out of bed, washed and went and joined the other bees in the hive. There was a real buzz going on between the workers, the field behind the hive was full of yellow flowers and they had a full days work ahead of them. There was a line of bees just waiting to get out of the hive entrance. One by one they flew away to gather pollen and nectar from the farmers crop of Rapeseed oil.
Henry busied himself from flower to flower until he had enough food to take back to the hive. He flew back meeting the guard bees on the landing board. He told them how far he had flown by doing a little dance then went into the hive to deliver the pollen and nectar into the cells in the brood frames. Other bees were busy feeding the lava from this feedstore. Some bees were fanning the hive to keep it at a certain temperature. Henry was tired by the end of his working day and retired back to his cell, got into bed, turned off the light and went to sleep.

You wanted to know a little about the bees Lulu. LOL. I expect the beekeepers have fed their bees after extracting the honey and now the bees are ready for the cold winter months. We used to let them clean up the frames after taking the honey from them, then removing them and replacing a feeder that contained sugar syrup that we made for them. They store this as winter feed. We used to check the hives in the early spring to make sure that they were o.k. and if it was cold we gave them some more feed.

I saw on telly today a pack of fondant icing left for the bees in their hives for this winter!
I do love bees. I fed a tired big bumble a flower. Just laid it beside her and watched her fast track straight to it.

They are amazing little creatures Lulu and without them we wouldn't get much food or the spread of flowers.
