As we have recently renovated our Porch, the old wall trough was moved into the back garden to become part of a matching pair in the courtyard..So we invested in an 80cm long 'Aztec' resin trough to replace it. Not overly cheap at £24.99, but very robust, and nice and deep, perfect for perennial planting, and I loved the 'Sandstone' design.. A wall trough that should last us many years and still look good!

Thanks for looking in on me Dotty..Yes, the usual plastic type troughs are so narrow and we wanted something a bit beefier..
This trough really ticked the boxes for us. \0/x

Hahahahaha..well I don't know about classy Hywel, but it is certainly robust..Although you can not see it well with this photo, it actually has a striking coloured sandstone effect running through the surface..Thanks for looking in on me my friend..\0/x

Thanks Bloomer and Ba..I didn't want one of the narrow wall troughs as wanted to grow a selection of small perennials, and this is really wide and deep and very robust for its price. They also do two upright pots in the 'Aztec' range, one at £24.99 and a taller one at £39.99. They really look so impressive up close..\0/x

Great buy. It will look beautiful with flowers tumbling out of it .....I think stronger pink tones would look lovely against that colour. Red would look wonderful too. It looks to be a similar shade to the garden shed we have just purchased ... Colour is called 'Desert Sand'. We chose that colour as we thought it would make a great background colour for a wine coloured clematis that I intend planting to grow over it. Your trough does look classy.

Thank you Dwyllis, and I shall take that colour idea on board. Our front door is a deep burgundy so would be lovely to tie in a similar colour to tone with it. Love the idea of a wine coloured Clematis against your garden shed.. Troughs are an expensive buy nowadays, but this was certainly worth the money as it is very sturdy and looks great..Am really delighted with it.\0/x

Perfect for winter planting, and not heavy.
