The flowers are pale lilac. The french call this Veronique but its a Hebe, and if you fancy a shandy (beer & lemonade) you ask for a panache:-)

After a summer where I seem to have been more away from my garden than in it Pansy, I have decided to jetison my veg patch and put it to shrubs. Trouble is I am not much of a garden designer and I am buying things I fancy. I am hoping I don't put low ones in front of high ones and all the lilac colours together and then all pink which would be boring. So it's a bit plant and hope.... then start moving things next Autumn (which my hubby gets REALLY annoyed about).

Well thats me all over Troddles, I buy on impulse then plant wherever there is a space its not until the following year when everything is in flower that I can see whether plants need moving else where, its a favourite pastime of mine moving things around lol
