Pachystachys lutea - Golden Shrimp

My Golden Shrimp is doing well. This area used to be full of them...then I removed most. The snails love to eat all the leaves and flowers in winter. They look like skeletons. Photo taken Oct. 24, 2012.

We do have winter. It does rain and get cold...just not as cold as where you live. :>)
Do the snails die or hibernate in winter where you live?

They do both - more sense than us!

That's good that they die in winter, there. I wish the snails would die here in winter.
