Bees and the Ladybells

The hard drumming of wings against the petal thrumming in this patch of ladybells rings as I lean in close. Just large enough a flower to get in for this one, but just long enough it requires a beating of the wings to reach the bottom. Whatever is there must be a real treat as it works bloom to bloom, always remembering which has been already visited.

Thank you. I love listening to the bees buzzing inside the blooms. :-)

Thank you Marguerite. Many of our native flowers are shades of blue so it has to be placed carefully. But I love them.
