According to the label, its 'real' flowering time is from June to October. It's in group 3.

Thorncroft's Clematis. Their on-line catalogue will make you drool! Be warned. It's not an easy one to track down. It has another name - 'Craddick's Cascade' of all things!

Love clematis but not much room in our garden. This one looks lovely.

I've only managed to fit more in because of the new wall! :-D)
