My Allamanda 'Cherries Jubilee' has developed a seed pod. It looks like a porcupine. Photo taken Nov. 8, 2012.

I hope it develops the seeds! Although, it may not be true-to-type, because this vine is a hybrid.

Do you know what the parents are?

I think it's Allamanda blanchetii x cathartica. I'm not positive, though. I'm guessing the seeds will revert back to one of the parents. If the seed pod ripens completely, would you want the seeds? I'm just going the throw it in the trash.

I'd love them!

I'll keep you informed if it ripens fully...then it's all yours.

It's a spectacular flowering vine. It's still blooming profusely.
