Falling apart.

So I was educated today, that this is Echinops ritro, it has beautiful blue colour in July and it isn´t falling apart, as I thought, but it is nibbled by birds. Its seeds are the most favourite on bird menu :)

mine cost £5 for 2 small plants, the bees and birds love them :-) nice to see them wild
