The Queen of the night (Night-blooming cereus)

This plant was a gift from the "Cerepal" garden. (Cerepal is an organization that takes care of cerebral palsy patients). We do chiropractic voluntary work there. The gardener gave me a cut about 4 years ago. This is the second time it blooms. Photo taken in 02/12/2012.

Epiphyllum oxypetalum grows very large. I have one that just bloomed for the 7th time this year. It's going wild.

Aleyna:

My former neighbor gave a me a cutting a couple of years ago. My plant has grown very large (from the cutting) and blooms many times throughout the year. It just bloomed about two weeks ago for the 7th time, this year. This Epiphyllum blooms like my Epiphyllum 'Golden Charm' and my other unknown white variety (from my former neighbor, also), many times a year. My old Red, Pink varieties only bloom once a year.

Hi Meanie,
Yes, it blooms overnight, I hope I'll see this one bloom before leave to France next 17th.
I'm not sure, it just showed up. It takes time to grow before bloom.

Delonix,
Now I'd demand a picture of each one of yours... lol!
or the links where you already post it :o)

I think I only took pics during one of it's bloom. It blooms at night when I'm in the house. I see the flowers closing up in the morning. I've posted many pics of my Hylocereus undatus (Dragon fruit, Pitaya cactus) the flowers stay open longer in the morning. Here's some pics:

The flowers are bigger on Hylocereus than on Epiphyllum.
