I've just looked this up on the internet ...

Somewhere between an inch and inch and half Terra but the bush is loaded with these . Very popular landscape shrub and bees and humingbirds love it.
Glad you are liking it

I've never seen this before Klahanie, it's so beautiful. Does it have fruit of some sort later?

It has some seedpods about 3" long Shirlwhirl. I do not think we can grow it in my country or yours. It likes it hot and dry. Too much rain on Vancouver Island.
Thanks Vivek .

Hi Klahanie, that is such a pretty name - is it a real name or your ID for GOY?
If it is not a real name, it ought to be!! I love it.

It is my screen name Shirlwhirl. My real name is not so exotic :-)
Happy New Year to you and your family.

Ah I see Klahanie, - Shirlwhirl is my ID - really Shirley, but most people call me Shirl, so I am mostly known by that!
All the best for 2013 to you and all your family also.
