Bred by Northwest Garden Nursery in Oregon, US and purchased it as one of 3 plug plants from Hayloft Plants, UK two years ago.
This is the first time blooming in my garden.....cup-shaped double flowers in dark reddish purple colour. It's a shame that it looks better in person, really.....

Fabulous colour..........., these always make me smile makes me think springs not too far away, first snowdrops poking through here too :-))

It's very lovely. Deep, rich colour. Well done bringing it on.
I'm looking forward to the 2nd year flowering of a miniature peonea that a friend on Goy gave me. It also has a small rich flower.
