Papaya tree

Papaya tree

Growing in the middle of an antique shop yard. I found it comical.

It has lots of fruits. Did you see the pics of my papaya plants?

There's nothing like home-grown papayas.

Thanks for your comments, Delonix1. Stickitoffee and Wildrose.
I was surprised how much fruit it had growing what seemed a poor soil and harsh conditions.

Klahanie:

Papaya plants can produce very good fruit even in poor, dry soil. One thing they cannot tolerate is cold, wet soil...even in the tropics they don't like wet soil (the roots rot very easily in clay-type soils).

I have many years experience growing several varieties of papayas.

Was this the first year of you photos from Mexico on GOY Klahanie?
A happy cat. He's got it made.
