Hi ML - we have sunshine upto about the table - at the bottom I have planted - Fatsia, Pachysandra terminalis 'Green Carpet' , Lily of the valley, Aucuba spotted laurel and Cotoneaster :)))))))

Top conifer bright yellow, 2 grasses and leylandiis in pot either side - to hopefully make a hedge to walk through and also shelter back door

That will be great Paul...just like my Japanese secret corner...sun almost to the end, but not in winter as it never gets high enough. Does it face North-West by any chance?

Thanks Karen - an extended gravel garden excuse for me - the drive faces to the south - gates are good - protects the wind batterings - I want a whole section of flowers right up now :D
