Clematis cirrosa freckles

thats really pretty, I have one with a few freckles on but only a couple of flowers ~ how can i encourage it to have multiple flowers?

Mine is quite an old plant this is the best it has flowered, I dont do anything special to it, it likes full sun and mabey a feed of sulphate of potash might encourage it to flower more :o)

ah ~ full sun may have something to do with it although its in possibly one of the sunniest spots i have.

Lovely Ph , these are a favourite of mine ,like yours they have been blooming well this year .. It's Amazing how such delicate looking flowers survive our winters ....
