the most destructive animals we have around they dig up the crocus and eat them they bite off large numbers of camellia buds, eat the flowers of quite a few plants steal the seed pods off plants they bury peanuts, conkers (Chestnuts) all over the garden and in pots all of which germinate they get into roofs and cause havoc and they breed like rats,which of course they are, I could go on but thats enough.

I send a hawk next time :)

Bjs - we have black squirrels as well as greys, and they do dig holes in the lawn! But they leave my pots alone since I "mulched" them all with stones . . . worth a try?
