Hywel ,I think it is Ficus-variegata

Thank you. I think it probably is a weeping fig Ficus benjamina variegata. It's lovely.
I bought small one a few weeks ago, but without the variegation.

You are right. Are you going to keep it inside? I do have one inside at our Island house (not variedated). I got it as a gift from a friend who was moving to another country. I have to be clip it often to keep it manageable.

Very lovely....the little tree is spectacular!

It looks great in a pot! There's large variegated Ficus benjamina trees in the ground here; however, they don't look as good as in a pot.

I think that they have to be chopped short all the time to survive in the pot Delonix1. Sort of like a bonsai.

Yes I'll have to keep it inside. I live in Wales not Mexico lol ... it would surely die ...

Klahanie:
Yes, Ficus has many large roots. The larger species of Ficus are huge problems in some neighborhoods here in San Diego. The major problem trees are: Ficus benjamina, retusa, nitida, macrophylla, elastica 'decora', thonningii, rubiginosa, religiosa, watkinsiana and a few others.
I have Ficus cyathistupula, craterastoma, thonningii, buxifolia. They grow super fast in the ground. I have Ficus benghalensis -Indian Banyan (in a pot), it will never be put into the ground (as it grows to monstrous proportions).

Yeah, they are a great contrast plant. Much more tender then the all green.

Stan,
It's not much more tender than the green-form.
I had a large one in a pot for years in Mission San Jose, Fremont.

That's a pretty tree. Do you know what it is ? The leaves remind me of Ficus benjamina ....
