Isn't your ground sodden Simbad?I've been doing a bit of heavy pruning on the back garden on an old physocarpus diabolo and a common ivy on a fence coming in from neighbours garden and a cotinus. but not so heavy on that. The only problem is I worry about crushing things under the soil where I'm standing.

its snowing again here!

We've got well over an inch tonight, I couldn't believe it as it has rained nonstop until snow:-(

Two or three inches of snow now but the roads are ok.

Now look here Sticki, there's a big difference between two and three ...a whole inch! Now we have about two inches here too .....maybe four?:-))

ok!!! its down to two now due to subsidence or global warming or something! but it was three!!

Lol ours has thawed somewhat on the roads:-)

when i saw this blog come up i thought surely not ~ dont tell me BA has snow today??!!

it was minus 1 early this morning but then the sun came out and the sky turned blue!

Thanks Sheila, I have four Austin roses, one in each oddly shaped bed. The two at the front are the Queen of Sweden and the ones nearest the house are the fantastic Lady Emma Hamilton who also smells delicious:-) Sticki, not a trace of snow since yesterday morning, even had sunshine although very cold:-)
