Hummingbird Nest in Tropical Guava Tree

That is precious Delonix. We have lots of hummingbirds around but I have not seen a nest anywhere.

Yes, there's a lot of hummingbirds here, also. Never has one nested in my yard, though. :>)

The Guava tree is right outside the back door. I'll be passing by it many times. I don't want to bother it, though. I hope to get some photos of the babies when they're born. The nest is not too high up in the tree.

Yes, I had so many guavas late last summer and fall! I'm going to thin the fruit out this year...as they were falling every where by the hundreds.

I don't it them...I use them as an air freshener. They have an extremely aromatic sweet fragrance.

just found them ~ they look double the size of those that are for sale here?
