Thanks - I had to restrain myself from buying more! There are always lovely plants brought by other garden owners.

That is so pretty B, our lunch is next Tuesday, so when do you open, was frightened to ask, after all the problems you have experienced.

I updated my profile, Dd. It's the first and second Thursdays in June, plus the Saturday following, because as you know, the NGS want all their gardens to open that weekend.
Do you have a plant stall at your lunch?

I planted it yesterday, and it holds its flowers with their faces looking down, which is such shame when I know how lovely they are!

B We do have a plant stall, but unfortunately there was nothing out of the ordinary for us to buy, did get to see a fantastic garden after lunch, a small 3 acre one!! OH was very envious of their glasshouse, one like Alan Ts but a beautiful taupe colour, which was full up with planted seed trays, heating, and had music playing!! sat next to a charming lady who bought her gardener to the lunch.........(because he does all the work!!) she has a small garden of 7 acres!! we with our small garden, and the only garden in Lee, are in the minority, most are large country estates, but everyone is very friendly and they do not make you feel small and insignificant......

Glad to hear it. I've got my Yellow Book so I can look you up, now! :-D)
That was a treat, to be at a garden! We just saw the inside of a village hall.

In the past we have visited the County Organisers garden after lunch, so it was a real treat to see this one, it is called The Down House, look it up on the web, he has his own site(www.the downhouse.co.uk) best private garden I have ever seen, was so cross I had not brought my camera, hope to visit it again in the summer, was on a par with Alan Ts!!

Wow! I will take a look later...shame it'll be too far away to visit, though. Fancy forgetting your camera. Tsk, tsk.

Old age Barbara........a terrible thing, had my phone but left it in the car, and it was too far to go back for it.
