They didn't take too long Sandra!! my leeks have just started to sprout and I'll sow Tomatoes later this week!

i just love the excitement Paul...got my self in a right state waiting for them to sprout...i have some onions up too...not sown any leeks yet...do you sow them indoors or outside?

I sow them in cell trays in The heated potting shed!Mainly as our soil is very heavy clay and not fit for sowing seed until April/may

ours is the same Paul...nothing grows from seed in the soil

I want to try a plum shaped tomato this year. I used to grow them many years ago and thought I'd try again. I'm going to buy a plant ot two.

Are these an indoor variety Sandra? I used to grow outdoor ones, but reckoned to wait until the second half of March before I sowed them.

they are indoor Andrew..i never have any success with out door toms here just tooo windy. we do them early to get the edge at the market.

You're just starting your tomato crop and the winter coastal San Diego crop is about to end soon. LOL! :>)

yes i am Delonix..its such an exciting time....heated blankets and a gas fire keeping them warm at night...:-)

Wow! That's sounds like a lot of work. I'm guessing you must be used to doing all that work for your plant, though. :) What we will do for our plants, right? lol!
