Spreading The Wild

A few small sprigs of Sedums taken from a garden wall and stuck into cracks and crevices of the walls of the entrances to an under-pass have flourished and grown in just two years into examples such as this one which seems to be preparing to produce flowers. A few sprigs of Campanulas and a Saxifage have also taken root and begun to grow in similar situations though these were only planted last Autumn and so far still not very well established. Wink, Wink. Nudge, Nudge. Allons! Allons! so easy to do even if some people think you a little mad if they see you doing it. But it enhances the appearance of our environment and not so likely to be dug up and taken home by nature-vandals in the same way as the more conspicuous primroses etc might be.
