Amazing Katarina, - mother cat sure found a safe place if she had her kittens there!!
The picture is in the very old part of our churchyard in the village.

Nice pic. Shirlwhirl. I love the shape of the patch of sunlight( like a big church window).

Well, there are "beasts" all over the country, or parts of it, mostlly said to be huge black cats - why not a "Beast of Gloucestershire"?
I don't bother taking my camera out with me as a habit - even if I saw something, by the time I'd taken it out of my bag, taken the camera out of its bag, turned it on, pointed and aimed, whatever had been there would probably be long gone.

I carry a very small one in my bag Fran.
We do have big cats in Gloucestershire - at least there have been lots of sightings, none more-so than around our area!!! My daughter is adamant that she saw one early one morning about 5.30 a.m. (She takes her husband to catch an early train at Kingham some mornings!)
I haven't seen one but I reckon they must be about. I had some huge pawprints in my garden a few years back and I made plaster casts of them. I think I put a photo on GOY somewhere. I just forget now. I must look through.

if you didn't please do! and if you did, can you point us to them? I find the subject fascinating - though with any on-the-edge subject, you do get some weirdies who put off serious scientists from studying the subject.

I found it on my page 2 Fran, next to a close up sunflower head picture. Hope you can find it.
The clothes peg was to give it some perspective.

Unfortunately I do not always take camera with me. But last summer I noticed small pussycats climbing from the grave. There was a cleft between marble desk on the grave and the ground and they prbably had their nest there. Ir was very curious.
Lovely photo, though it is a cemetery.
