This has flowered like this for a good few years But constantly protected from Squirrel who would rip it to Pieces

Unfortunately it has a wire mesh cage around it, as quite a few other things in the garden have ,they are unsightly but I have had to learn to live with it,I tend not to see them and remove them for a while if I have visitors to the garden,its not 100% about 90% I would say, just today I found a Cyclamen pulled out by the roots that was under a cage.

It drives me wild when these critters do that. I do not mind (not as much anyway) when they eat it but some of my plants are just pulled out, destroyed and tossed around. :-(

I've been looking at the options for trapping and humanely killing these pests. Trapping live is the best option but then you need to shoot them. You are caught between the Devil and the deep blue sea.
