Daughters pond...

We're having snow showers Lincs, but its the biting wind that gets me....

As picturesque as it is I just wish it would stop now Lincslass

I think today has been our coldest day Moti, we had sunshine ,blue sky and swirling snow all at the same time, it went right through to the bones and I was only outside for a few mins....
I agree S'lad, hard to believe I cut all the lawns and worked outside for hours last week, no gloves or jacket, even sat out on the patio for a coffee break it was so warm.....

coldest day here for us too Lincslass, we look to have had about the same amount of snow. None last night to call anything though so we are thawing out a bit now, sunnier today, but still cold not as cold as yesterday though. Thank goodness, I could not get warm last night, even sat in front of the log fire. lol :O)

I'll ditto the comments already here & register my envy of Olive's log fire.
You can sit for days in front of a radiator & not get those wonderful 'fire-marks' you get from natural flames. Lol.

Now that takes me back, I remember my auntie used to come and visit us in the days when we had coal fires and always stood in front of the fire, lift her skirt slightly and get warm, never wore any stockings even in winter, got used to going without during the war, her legs used to be all mottled, it didn`t harm her she was in her 90 's when she died.....

Oh dear, looks pretty but better suited to mid January I think!!! It is not wanted is it?!

I know I ticked "like" but its probably better looking out at it from a cosy chair by a lovely warm fire with a cuppa in your hand!
