Wow! Wind, rain and cold?

It was 84ºF (29ºC) here today. It's been warm all week and should be warm for the foreseeable future. Us San Diegans are very happy! Although, we are very low on rainfall, much below normal.

I fear that mine may now be dead.................

However, my first Polygala virgata seed has germinated. It has a different flowering habit................

I wonder if the first photo was taken at Berkeley Botanical Gardens. Berkeley Botanical Gardens is one of the most scientific gardens in the world...all the plants must be collected (by botanist) in the wild and documented. I used to go there all the time. It used to be free for so many years.
