seeds bought via Amazon 29.7.12 - planted 2.3.13
The instructions said to soak the seeds in water overnigh; there were 20 seeds in the pack, so I soaked 10, thinking to leave the others as backup - but five seeds each in two troughs looked a bit pathetic, so I added the other ten, unsoaked: see what difference that makes, if any
Filled up the rest of the troughs with Aquilegia caerulea mix, from Katerina
Covered with almost a whole pack of siced chilli, hope that'll keep the squirrels off!

You've been busy Fran in your balcony garden. I hope you enjoy the lovely perfume of Sweet Peas in summer time. The foxes have had several other goes at getting under the shed on Friday night and tore some of the bottom of the blue trellis to bits. After the rain cleared yesterday I had a burn up in my chimenea of old papers etc. Trying to keep to my plan of a slow declutter of that sort of stuff.
