Hamamelis Sandra

Is this a late variety? mine are nearly over.

It was small and new last year Ph and not yet established it's been struggling to flower for ages I had almost given up on it so am relieved to see it blooming at last ....

Thanks Angela , this was a new young shrub last autumn Skips it's only about 2/3ft tall if that ! it has these blooms on all it's twiggy / branches I haven't seen it in it's leaf stage yet ... would you believe I haven't smelt it Julie I haven't wanted to tramp on the ground with the snow and new bulbs emerging from the ground ...

What a treat for winter to have this, wish I had more room Amy!

Mine flowered really early and shrivelled in earlier frosts. I feared it had died, as it is new...but looking at it now, I think it may be ok. This is very pretty! :)

The snow arrived last night AGAIN Sandra :o(, your garden is pretty as it is Janey I would swap this for your walls LOL . I didn't think this was going to come into flower Karen it didn't look too good earlier especially with it being like yours a new young shrub.

It's beginning to melt here Sandra , it looked bad up your way on the news , keep warm snuggle down with some nice food and don't go out unless you really have to x
