Jatropha podagrica

It's Jatropha podagrica. We grow several species of Jatropha here in San Diego. I have Jatropha gossipifolia which grows wild in my yard.

It's a very, very toxic plant!

Are the seeds the walnut size balls?
This plant had an interesting structure and leaves are pretty as well reminding me of begonia.
The whole plant looked interesting.
I will be careful not to touch it, now that I know that it is toxic.

The seeds are toxic. It's in the Spurge family (Euphorbiaceae)
