Wow! What crazy weather! Sorry to hear it almost ruined your Greek Independence Day Parade!

You need to come to San Diego, here in Southern California we've been having beautiful warm, sunny weather! :>)

All my Plumerias are starting to grow and putting out flower spikes. How are your Plumerias growing?

26 Mar, 2013

Thanks Pl...but it's spring...you can keep your snow. I don't mind a little wind.

Our weather is not really cold Delonix...the winds are coming from the south....warm wind with red sand from Africa. I can't wait for all these storms to finish and get on with proper spring! I woudl love to visit California.

My Plumeria's have no leaves at the moment (outdoors).....except for the one I have indoors which now has three branches.

Flower spikes.....lucky you.

So, it's a warm storm. I actually like warm storms.
I wish we would get some warm storms, as we still need the rain...we're so far below normal for this season. The rainy season after March is pretty much over. :>(

I'm guessing your Plumerias will be breaking dormancy soon.

I'm so surprised my large Plumeria in the ground is starting to put out leaves and buds so early. It always grows its leaves late. I'm guessing the reasons is because it goes dormant or looses its leaves in late January or early February. Plumeria rubra almost always stays dormant for at least two months (here in San Diego, anyway).

Alexandramou:

New leaves will come out as soon as it's consistently warmer. I hope you get some flowers spikes with lots of flowers this year! :>)

30 Mar, 2013

You'll be taking lots of pics just like me, then. lol!

I've been noticing more and more flower spikes emerging on my Plumerias. I'll have to take some pics. :>)

efkaristo Alexandramou, I tried to learn Greek years ago and became quite good, but never got GOOD ENOUGH to have proper conversations with Greek people!! Only able to explain what we wanted, or pass the time of day etc! (Ti kaneti?)
Pity I have forgotten most of it now. I would love to speak it fluently - or any other language!!
