Aleyna:

Epiphyllum oxypetalum only opens very late at night. I can't wait until mine start to bloom, which should be soon. They grow very large here at least 20ft (5.5m) or taller and that's straight up many times. They love to grow into trees, I see them growing into trees all the time around town (in private gardens).

They grow very much like Dragon Fruit cactus, except more vertical.

Delonix,
Mine grows wild all around I guess it is looking for a tree, but I won't dare to let it close to my Sakura cherry tree, I'm afraid it can kill the Sakura.

It won't kill your Sakura cherry tree. LOL! It's not an epiphytic stranger. Epiphytic starngers like many Ficus species will eventually kill their host tree.

NO kiding! Can I plant both in same pot?

1 Apr, 2013

"Can I plant both in same pot?" If you have enough room in the pot.

Remember: both plants will be taking nutrients from the same soil.
