Tabebuia impetiginosa - Pink Ipê Tree Flowering

This Pink Ipê tree was flowering in the Japanese Gardens at the San Diego Zoo. Since we cannot grow cherries with any success, they're using the Pink Ipê tree for the beautiful pink flowers. Photo taken Apr. 1, 2013.

Yes, they're amazing. I must photos of the large trees in my neighborhood before they stop blooming. :>)
