The weather the last three days have been so chilly here. The highs have only been 62ºF (17ºC); however, by Thursday the temps will be back to 80ºF (27ºC), Thank God! Because we've been feeling so cold!!!

I've never had to put my furnace on in April, ever! I've had it on now for about 20 minutes. The low tonight (morning low) is going to be 50ºF (10ºC), which is our normal low for early January. The morning lows have been close to 62ºF (17ºC) for the last month and half with high temps from 75 - 80ºF (24 - 27ºC). Although, the forecasted high on Friday is suppose to be 87ºF (31ºC), and continued warm from then on. :>)

Aloe marlothii. One of my favorite Aloe's. They have it all, impressive leaves, color, flowers and size. They laugh at cold. At least 28f.

Most Aloe species are hardy in the low elevations of California. In two months all the Aloes should start blooming.
