Its looking healthy , I made 6 new plants from some of that black grass today , I do know it's name but it's the wrong time of the night to remember it !

19 Apr, 2013

Lol Amy yes I know what you mean about the name, that's good splitting it, it's good for it. Cheers

20 Apr, 2013

20 Apr, 2013

I wish either of you could remember the name of the black grass.
It's astonishing!

20 Apr, 2013

Mouldy it could be Ophiopogon planiscapus Nigrascens ,check it out in google

20 Apr, 2013

Snap, San! I was just looking for it on the RHS site and it has an AGM (Award of Garden Merit) - I bet Mouldy wishes he hadn't asked for the name now - bit of a long name to remember!

Thanks guys.
Must memorise that one.
Just sort of casually drop it into the conversation down the pub, as you do. Lol.

20 Apr, 2013

lol :-)

20 Apr, 2013

Is it a deliate grass?

23 Apr, 2013

No it's a strong hardy grass mate, out all winter under snow as well...

23 Apr, 2013

That's good news, but not for footie, no? Lol.
Just thinking...black grass, white ball, viewers chucking the remote at the telly, thinking the colour was wonky. ;-)

24 Apr, 2013

Lol yes mate :-))

24 Apr, 2013

Did removals, decades ago, & wound up a YTS telling him if he didn't carry a telly level the colour would pour out of the valve. Lol.

25 Apr, 2013

Lol we had one when I was a mechanic told him to go to stores for a box of sparks as the grinder had run out :-)

25 Apr, 2013

LOL, Surrey!!! Never heard that one before.
Ahhh, the simple joys of bamboozling & belittling young folk & kids, eh?
Striped or tartan paint, skirting board ladders, sky hooks, long waits, left-handed screwdrivers...
Some enterprising person could have made a fortune, if they'd opened a shop & sold that sort of merchandise.
Could have charged a premium for embarassment saved, too! ;-)

26 Apr, 2013

Lol yes the old long wait haven't heard that in ages :-)

27 Apr, 2013

You had a long wait for it. Ouch!!!

28 Apr, 2013

Boom boom :-)

28 Apr, 2013

Blimey, there's an echo in here...echo in here...echo...echo. ;-)
