These had flower buds when I bought them Karen, must have had a sheltered upbringing...lol....I planted Red Sentinel in the garden, buds just beginning to open, and this one in a half barrel by the south facing wall.

Is this the one you bought to hide " you know what " Janey it's got off to a flying start , I have the Red Sentinal when we first had it it had lovely bright red fruits in the autumn but this last 2/3 years they have been scabby and drop off easily :o(

They've been adjusting the "you know whats" this week Amy, we were hoping they would be taking them down, but no such luck.....they've moved the large one to the left and put another solid one on the right..... We planted a golden Birch to hide one of them...it's just coming into leaf now, and the Robinia the other side is budding up nicely...:))

I wonder what the problem is with your Red sentinel .....maybe it could do with a spray do you think?

Ah you were hoping they would be moved, thats sad they've let you down Janey your Golden Birch and Robinia will go a long way to disguise the " you know whats "I love the Robinia and have had two one after the other they both died I won't risk it again .. the Red Sentinal could possibly do with a spray but it's tall I'm sure we wouldn't be able to cover it all ,I wonder if some of the problem is that it's getting crowded out with other shrubs growing beside it , we'll see how it goes this year !

Amy, our Robinia was bought as the Frisia, but it isnt, so mid green, very spiny and quite brittle.....still it does hide one of those dishes.....I'm wondering about the roots now, how far they've reached.......ooer...:((
