Pretty in white, is not it? Most of the ones around are blue or purple.

Such beautiful flowers with very large leaves.

Hello Delonix1, thanks for your comment, The large leaves do not belong to scilla they are emerging leaves of Japanese anemones. The scilla will be nice for the next 2-3 weeks before it will fade away.

I can imagine, with such lush growth everywhere.
Spring here in beautiful when all the Jacarandas bloom. Most are in bloom now. Although, my tree is always late and hasn't started to bloom yet. Most Jacarandas are blooming late this year (most likely due to the unusually cool January and February weather). The first Jacaranda trees start to bloom typically in late March.

The Jacarandas were in full bloom in February at Mexican highlands and were messing the sidewalks at the end of March when we were leaving, But I agree that it is quite a sight when massed and in bloom. Lovely, intoxicating color.

Yes, I remember your photos of the Jacarandas blooming during winter, in the dry season in Mexico. They're definitely a very beloved tree here in California. I'll have to get some photos posted soon. :>)
