Only one hive has bees in it at the moment,as after the long winter two other hives had very poor numbers of bees left. My husband amalgamated them all into one colony. It seems to have been successful.

Terra it will be quite some time before the ironing gets done - whilst the weather is fine I only want to be outdoors!
I know very little about bee keeping but there is an awful lot to it and they need a lot of attention and care.

its sad that bees are in decline isnt it, my uncle has them but seem ok at the moment, they once had some bad bees take over and ruin the whole thing, im sure you know what i mean, its a delecate operation bee keeping, i once got geered up and helped with them and thouroughly enjoyed it :o))
