lol I am hopeless with name tags Paul, but it is pretty in pale pink there is a really dark red one too looks just the same with lots of skirts but much much darker, in fact it is burgandy in colour, only problem is my camera doesn't seem to pick out the reds will have to have a go at it again and post a picture.

This one is unusual....I have various Aquilegia in my garden but no pinks!!!

Some years this goes crazy in this border but for some reason it is more sedate this year, although after saying that there are more and more of it appearing in other borders now. Maybe it has decided it is time to spread its wings a little bit more.

thanks Michaella it is throwing different shades of pink out now, putting a red one on in a moment hope it looks ok as my camera doesn't pick up reds very well.

You didn't need to be so specific with the name Olive....ha ha!!! they do cross pollinate and make so many lovely combinations, the Aquilegia, don't they??
