Hosta 'Big Daddy'

The flowers are very nice too karen :) I have 4 of these, im into the 4th year with them and they are BIG, also the slugs dont seem fussed on them as the leave's are thicker that the usual hostas, i still put pellets beside them mind lol..

I only have this one YDD...in my new green and white shade garden. It's going to be quite something by the look of it! Is yours tall as well as large?

Yes they are and wide, i love them, I have 2 in my med bed either side of the big pot because they look succulent'y to me lol, the leaves are thick, does'e that make sense ?
All mine are in sunny borders! and grow just as well as in shade, the leave's darken too so will go great in your G+W garden..

I have a big daddy but slugs or snails have already attacked him, grrrr!!!!!

Poor booboosmum! Slug Away solution does the trick...kills the blighters good and proper. I am using about a bottle a week right now, just to try and get them under control. Last year was a slugtastrophe!
